The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle - Haruki Murakami
To be honest, I bought this on a whim. I fell for the cover. It had such good texture and was so interesting. But beyond those things, I’ve been wanting to read another Murakami work. After Norwegian Wood, I’ve been wanting to read more of his writing to see how I like it.

Crime and Punishment - Fyodor Dostoyevsky
One of those books that you know you should read, but never really get around to. It’s taking me a while. I honestly don’t know when I’ll finish. I’m always like this with classics. But it’s just so big and difficult to carrying around. Curse these Russian authors and their page counts! On a side note, my first attempt at reading Russian literature! Shameful for a literature major, I know.

Korea Unmasked - Won-bok Rhie
I’m not a huge history fan. Sure, it’s interesting enough, but I guess historical reading has always seemed very dense and monotonously written for me. This book, however, seems to be a bit different. The history of Korea in pictures. Now that’s something I haven’t seen. My friend, Amanda, suggested it. She has excellent literary taste, so I thought I’d give it a chance. Plus, I’m in South Korea and there’s no time like the present to get a little more informed.
SCREENPLAYS
I made a commitment to read at least one script per week. This seems easy and it probably is, but it’s far easier to watch the movie. I want to commit to doing both. My original goal was to read through all the scripts on the syllabus for the screenwriting class I was taking plus the ones in the prerequisite class I didn’t take. I’m still working on that. Not to mention there are scripts I want to read just because I feel like it.
** I have failed miserably in this attempt. I should really pick it up again, but I am currently reading nothing.
